Recruiting Prospective Students:

The Lion Ambassadors of Penn State Harrisburg share their experience and expertise with all currently enrolled students who are interested in accepting their offer of Admission at our campus. The Ambassadors make it their goal to provide vital student leadership roles to the campus by assisting with both the Fall and Spring Undergraduate Open House as well as helping enrollment services. The Ambassadors meet this goal by giving campus tours and personally interacting with prospective students to our Campus on a regular basis.

Interaction with Alumni:

As the Student Alumni Corps, the Penn State Harrisburg Lion Ambassadors have a major role with campus alumni and donors. Lion Ambassadors serve a crucial role in connecting alumni and donors to the campus. Their knowledge of the campus and the ability to share it helps reconnect alumni and connect donors to the campus. Lion Ambassadors bring their knowledge of the students to work with the Alumni Society Board of Directors in helping them interact with the students. In addition, the Lion Ambassadors serve the campus Chancellor by assisting with the major donor and alumni activities, Commencement, and community events.

Development of Our Member's Potential:

Development of each member is an essential part of the Lion Ambassadors goal as a club. As a Lion Ambassador each member has the opportunity to either assist or take charge of numerous projects, they have the opportunity to take on new responsibilities, and they can act as leaders and representative of both the Club and Penn State University. While meeting a variety of new people both Alumni and Friends the Penn State Harrisburg Lion Ambassadors are presented with the unique opportunity to develop and hone their communication and networking skills. The responsibilities and events that take place within the club also help each member to develop a better set of time management skill. As the Club strives for excellence, every Lion Ambassadors gives energy, enthusiasm and commitment to achieve the numerous goals that have been set forth.

Enthusiasm for Our Club, College, and University:
